Effective Date: April 5, 2026
Sharp AI ("Sharp," "we," "our," or "us") provides a communication training application (the "App") designed to help professionals improve how they speak under pressure. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the App.
By using Sharp, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
When you sign in with Apple Sign In, we receive your Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your real email. We use this information solely to create and manage your account.
You may voluntarily provide information such as your name, job role, company, career situation, and professional goals to personalise coaching feedback. You may also upload professional documents (CVs, job descriptions, project briefs) for more tailored practice scenarios. This information is stored on your device and synced to your account if you are signed in.
When you use a practice session, the App records your spoken responses. These recordings are transmitted to our servers solely for transcription and AI-based scoring. Audio data is processed in real time and is not permanently stored on our servers after processing is complete.
In Conversation mode, live audio is streamed directly to ElevenLabs for real-time conversational AI interaction. This audio is processed in real time and is not stored after the session ends.
Scores, coaching feedback, transcripts, streaks, badges, and session history are generated during your use of the App. This data is stored locally on your device and synced to your account via our cloud service (Supabase) if you are signed in.
If you subscribe to Sharp Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and verify entitlements. We do not have access to your payment card details or bank account information. RevenueCat receives your anonymous app user ID and purchase receipt to validate your subscription.
We collect anonymised usage data to understand how the App is used and to improve the product. This includes events such as app launches, feature usage, session completions, and paywall interactions. This data is collected via PostHog and is not linked to your identity for advertising purposes.
If you opt in to push notifications, we collect your device push token to send you reminders and engagement notifications. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
We may collect crash logs and performance data through Expo to diagnose technical issues and improve app stability.
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
We do not use your information for third-party advertising, profiling for advertising purposes, or any purpose unrelated to delivering and improving the App.
